Riley grew up in a small mountain town in Colorado. (really small) He received a BFA from Columbia College Chicago in 2018 (really fun). Since then then he's shot projects all over the world for incredibly talented filmmakers (really cool).

Riley’s work focuses on a controlled naturalism, the blending of documentary and commercial filmmaking for a timeless, modern sensibility. Comfortable in rugged environments and large studio shoots he's is a fierce filmmaker who can forge large emotional impact with limited tools.

 

His imagery is simple and evocative. His unshakeable personality has bonded him with fantastic up and coming directors across genres. He's currently shooting his first Feature Atakawea
